How It Works
Share your America story in 3 simple steps
We designed the process to be quick, comfortable, and respectful of your time. Most people are done in under 10 minutes.
1. Join the email list
Sign up with your best email so we can send you the recording guide, example scripts, and a secure upload link.
What you’ll receive: video tips, suggested prompts, and an overview of how your story may be featured.
2. Record your 60-second story
Use your phone or webcam. Follow one of our simple prompts, like “One thing I love about life in America is…” or “My favorite American tradition is…”.
No special equipment needed: good lighting, clear audio, and your genuine voice are all that’s required.
3. Upload & approve
Use your private upload link to send the video to our secure folder. We’ll email you before your story is shared anywhere.
You stay in control: you choose whether we use your first name, your city, or keep details minimal.
Prefer to just receive uplifting stories for now? Join the list — sharing a video is always optional.

Questions & answers
If you’re thinking about sharing a story, you might be wondering about a few things. Here are quick answers.
Is this project political in any way?
No. America Uplift is intentionally non-political. We focus on everyday experiences, gratitude, and positive stories about life in America — such as favorite places, traditions, friendships, and opportunities. We do not use or share political messages, endorsements, or commentary.
Do I have to appear on camera?
We encourage you to appear on camera because it helps your story feel more personal, but it’s not required. You can film scenic shots, meaningful places, or everyday moments while speaking off-camera. In your email guide, we’ll include examples of both options.
How long should my video be?
We recommend 20–45 seconds. Short and heartfelt is perfect. You’ll receive simple prompts, like “One thing I appreciate about America is…” or “A moment that made me grateful to live here was…” to help you get started.
How will my video be used?
Your video may be featured on America Uplift channels, highlight reels, and other positive storytelling projects. Before anything is shared, we’ll confirm by email and give you a chance to approve how your name and general location appear (or keep them minimal).
Can I unsubscribe or change my mind later?
Absolutely. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. If you submit a video and later decide you’d rather not have it shared, just reply to any email from us and we’ll remove it promptly.
